We collect information you provide when creating an account: your name, email address, daycare name, phone number, and optional business information (address, EIN, license number).

2. Children's Data (COPPA Compliance)

CubKeep is designed for use by adult daycare providers, not children. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

We collect only children's first names, optional last names (for tax receipts), and optional ages (as integers, never dates of birth).
This data is entered by authorized daycare providers, not by children.
Providers must confirm parental consent before entering any child data.
We never collect children's photos, health information, or dates of birth.
Child data is never sent to analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking services.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide billing and invoicing services
To process payments through Stripe
To send invoices, payment reminders, and account notifications via email
To generate year-end tax receipts

4. Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store, process, or have access to credit card numbers or bank account details. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security policies on all database tables, and secure authentication with HTTP-only cookies. Sensitive fields like EIN/Tax ID are masked in the user interface.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. Family records with an "ended" status are retained for tax and audit purposes. You may request full deletion of your data by contacting support.

7. Third-Party Services

Supabase — authentication and database hosting
Stripe — payment processing
Resend — transactional email delivery
Vercel — application hosting
Sentry — error monitoring (no child data is sent)

8. Your Rights
